Basic Philosophy

Based on the spirit of practical learning, we aim to develop human resources through Japanese language education who possesses a deep understanding of Japanese culture and language, a rich international perspective, and a love for humanity. Objective

The school aims to contribute to the development of Japan by providing Japanese language education for students aspiring to enter Japanese universities and other higher education institutions, while also cultivating talented individuals who can play an active role in society from an international perspective.

    You can have opportunities to interact with Japanese students and international students enrolled at the university.

    • Recommendation to Teikyo University and Teikyo Heisei University

    You can be recommended for admission to universities in the Teikyo University Group through in-school selection.
    Since EJU score is not a requirement, you will have more time to study Japanese and your future field of study.

Principal’s Greeting

“Japanese Language School Affiliated with Teikyo Heisei University” was opened in October 2019 to provide the best Japanese language learning environment for those whose native language is not Japanese. Being located right next to the university gives you a lot of advantages such as free access to the university libraries, cafeterias and other university facilities. It also gives you a better idea of the lesson contents at the university at the early stage of your campus life.
Japan has established itself as a developed country in various fields such as economy, business management, education, literature, science and technology, computers, medicine and medical care. After improving your Japanese skill at our language school, you have an opportunity to move on to other universities as well as Teikyo University and its affiliated schools. Access

An 8-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. We are located near Sunshine City 60, a famous commercial facility.
Ikebukuro Station is a major terminal with eight train lines, including JR and subway lines, and is conveniently located for commuting to school. There are many department stores, electronics retailers, and other stores near the station, as well as supermarkets that are convenient for everyday use.

*Ikebukuro is one of the three major subcenters along with Shinjuku and Shibuya.
From Ikebukuro Station, it is 5 minutes to Shinjuku Station, 11 minutes to Shibuya Station,
18 minutes to Ginza Station, and within 1.5 hours to Narita and Haneda Airports.
